Staff and Program
Our counselors are chosen based upon their experience, warmth and enthusiasm. They are highly dedicated, and put many hours into planning activities and events. Our campers are guaranteed 6 weeks of non-stop fun!
Our summer fun program keeps children active, motivated, challenged and, yes, even wet through the summer months. Water activities, sports, terrific outings, carnival, gourmet cooking, Jewish-themed arts & crafts Shabbatons, and overnights are just a few of the many fun-filled activities the children will enjoy. Our carefully selected, experienced staff is warm, friendly, and above all caring. The counselors are sensitive to the particular needs of each child. First and foremost, our program is about having fun in a safe, caring and Jewish setting.
Gan Israel campers are imbued with a deep sense of Jewish pride and spirit in our heritage and a profound love for the land of Israel.
Younger Division
The exceptional program for 5 - 6 year olds. younger division offers a wide variety of fun activities, supervised by special devoted staff.
Older Division
CGI's program really kicks into high gear for your energetic 7 - 10 year old. Team sports, competitions, and programs specifically designed to challenge and motivate your child. Expressions of both individuality and team work are emphasized, rounding out a terrific program.
Pioneers
For ages 11 - 14 with an exciting program and special activities. There's more offered and more expected in the Pioneers!

Swimming is at UCSF and suppervised by profetional life guard on a one to 4 ratio.
Trips are genraly via school bus, which is both safe and exciting (for the younger kids)
